No Car In The City

Hi There,

After 40 years of driving all sorts of combustion powered automobiles I decided to sell my truck, transfer ownership of my 2007 Acura TL, 2000 Camaro SS, and 2005 Rubicon Jeep to other family members then set out on foot to discover the City of San Francisco; hence that is how writing this blog became an interesting project to start. I have been on foot for the last three months and I am surviving just fine. I am not saying that I haven’t ridden in a car lately, only that I don’t own an auto personally. Being a native of California but new to San Francisco, I have found that walking is expediting my education of the city while giving me a ground-level experience that only a native and/or long-time resident can appreciate. I am understanding why San Franciscan's love their city. Hopefully, I will have the discipline to keep this blog current and interesting to readers. So grab your best walking shoes and lets stroll through San Francisco. (I don’t own a bike either but if you do, you are welcome to follow along.)

Best regards,

Kimosabee

No car and fine so far is probably why many, many, San Francisco folk love living in the City.....It is an easy walking City. What I'd like to hear more about, is some of the crazy kind of situations that you have walked upon or stumbled upon while walking or lost.....
