Coffee in the Castro

July 8, 2010

Taking the Trolley up from Fisherman's Wharf to the Financial District is really inexpensive and relaxing. You get time to think about things of importance and find solutions or develop plans on how you're going to become a millionaire. It is a quite time. I finally got off in Castro, the last stop before the trolley turns to go back down Market Street to start the trip all over. Not too far from the famous Fillmore Street is a coffee shop you have to visit. On the corner of Steiner and Walker Street you'll find the "Bean There" coffee and cafe shop. A quiet place early in the morning. I had lunch for breakfast and it was fantastic. If you eat-in the coffee is served in a glass instead of cup. It's different! Oh, if you get a chance walk on Noe Street in the Noe Hills area of the Castro it is a beautiful and quiet street worth walking through.
