Secrets Stay Hidden

Looking toward the western coastline that keeps the mighty Pacific Ocean from flooding inland habitats a layer of dense North Pacific fog waits patiently for the right time to invade the inland areas of the San Francisco Bay.  The fog hides something and whatever it is it eludes detection and has for centuries.  Even the ships of olden times never found anything so the fog has held onto its secret which has caused fear and anxiety among many a sailor because of the unknown presence that remains undiscovered. Today legends are made up from talks of sea creatures and sharp drop off where the sea takes a 90 degree downward angle into oblivion.  The one thing that probably knows the secret presence within the fog is the fog horns that each evening sound the alarm of its ominous approach.
